I had a seizure that lasted 15 minutes. I'm 53 years of age and it was my 1st one. My eeg &mri did'nt look bad?

My doctor told me I should wait 2 more months (total of 3..it's been a month) and I was wondering how safe it would be for me to drive now. I was also concerned about the legalities, if I had a seizure while driving and not waiting 2 more months from now what the consequences would be? Thanks
