Sometimes I have trouble articulating my thoughts when I speak. Help?

Since most of the worlds communication is by e-mail, texts etc. I don't see where you have a problem. I would have thought that if you couldn't speak english very well, that it would show in your writing; that not being so, I don't see that you have a problem. The best spoken people say Um. What's wrong if a person uses that? As I said, I don't see a problem.
