Family Drama, Need Advice...?

My boyfriends mom is totally not into "us" like that however, after a few psychology cles, and being a mother my self, my opinion: I think she feels like she is cutting the last tie so to speak. She may feel like she is totally losing him and the fact that he is in the service, Im sure she feels like any visit could be the last. She is clinging to him because she has fears of losing him. I can see where you are coming from, he should help with the little details, it is his life too!! He is going to have to break the news to his mother that this week is about you and the life he chose to share with you. If you say something to her, she will think of you as the b*t*h who is taking away her baby. I would talk to him and have him talk to her. I would also let him have some time with her as being a soilder in this day and age is risky behavior and you never never know.
