Liverpool News?

Thierry Henry is unhappy being employed as a left winger at FC Barcelona despite a very respectable goal tally from midfield. Liverpool and Newcastle are interested in the former Arsenal captain and provided Liverpool qualify for the Champions League, Henry will return to the Premier League for around 12 million and strike what would surely be a great partnership with Fernando Torres. Dirk Kuyt, Andrei Voronin, John Arne Riise, Fabio Aurelio and Charles Itandje are also on their way out while Xabi Alonso could leave. Rafa Benitez will try to negotiate a straight swap with Alonso and Henry. He will try and sign English as well with Wayne Bridge from Chelsea and Joe Hart and Michael Johnson from Manchester City. Peter Crouch could stay now with him being preferred to Kuyt and Voronin.
