Why are we getting involved with the Libya war?

Because like everything else it comes down to one simple thing resources. In the case with Libya that resources is oil and Libya provides ~10% of all Europe's energy and since we are part of NATO we are going to get involved to make sure our allies continue getting access to the resources they need
