Camping in Northeast (CT, MA, NY) ?

hi, i'm from connecticut and i've heard from a lot of people who've gone camping that they love strawberry park in preston, ct. i personally have never been there. so i've never heard anything more than that it's fun. but if you google it i'm sure you can find out more info. there's also a beach called hammonet in madison, ct. there's a designated camping site there. again, don't know anything more than that. i've only been there to go to the beach - which is beautiful.
